I love love love the song at first listen, so I thought I'd give translating it a go. ^^
Some of the lines, I'm not confident with. (Perhaps I translated them to what I want to hear, instead of what they actually mean. XD)

* 'stay gold' - an expression which means to 'stay as you are, true to yourself, uncorrupted'.

My initial take of the song is, it celebrates and expresses love in the normal daily life.
It is not a grandiose declaration of love during weddings or anniversaries or whatever special days or occasions.
It's like the comfortable stage when you're just hanging out in your old T-shirts, slumping in front of the tv while talking about your day.
Or just snuggling in silence after a hard day at work. ^^
This song felt like it could wrap itself around you, and tease a smile from your lips as it helps remind you of the little things which you might forgot or have taken for granted since you've been together for so long. ^^
Of course, if my translation is off then that image will be different. XD
